Hometown: Plantation, Florida, USA
Undergrad School: Florida State University
Undergrad Major: Accounting
Why did you choose this program? Coming to the end of my undergraduate schooling, I was looking at my options of either pursing graduate school or entering the work force. After learning about this program, I realized the ability to immerse myself in so many cultures while pursuing a world class education and traveling around the world was an opportunity I could not pass up.
What do you enjoy about the program so far? Every part of the program has been exceptional! But I want to place emphasis that the program goes much further than the classroom. One of the best perks of the program is community housing. It brings me back to freshmen year, getting to know everyone on your floor and the entire building on a level much deeper than just classmates. Every minute I am immersed in dozens of cultures around the globe, such as celebrating the Mid-Autumn Festival or getting schooled by Europeans in soccer.
What has surprised you about the program so far? The biggest surprise for me has been how fast everyone has connected. I feel like I have known some of my classmates for years and yet it has been less than a month!
Fun facts: I worked for Florida State University’s athletic department recruiting some of the nation’s top football players.
Hobbies: basketball, racquetball, watching sports, white water rafting, reading.
